I had met Ray years prior, but we reacquainted at Dzen’s baby shower, and Ray had a similar due date to Dzen. She loved Dzen’s photos, and we decided to do a shoot together as well. I went to her home in Esquimalt, on a cloudy day in November, and instantly saw that her home, stunning sun-room and backyard held ample beautiful settings for photos. Ray was so open to my ideas and experimenting, the entire shoot felt so light, fun and as if we were creating art. We also got some sweet family photos with her fiance, Tristan, and their sweet dog Schmitt.
